Were in Rome, ITaly

This was a fun trip. The colleseum was very cool and I learned a lot about it too. I liked having all the pasta and pizza while i was there. I loved the chicken parmesean that I had while i was there. I had so much pizza I couldn't believe how good it was. It made the taco pizza from Papa John's sound bad compared to the pizza from Italy. I loved looking at all the sites and I got plenty of exercise walking around the great city of Rome.

Being in Rome no matter where you go you will learn something new like that in ancient Rome 40% of the population was made up of slaves and that the current population is 2.7 million people. I also learned that in 300 BCE there were the first barber shops in Rome. The average rainfall a year is 33 in of rain. I learned so much about Rome it was very fun.

Get Ready For Some Great Food Were Going to Beijing, China

This was my all time favorite spot to visit because they had the best food I have ever eaten. I love the chinese food that we have in Des Moines but nothing compares to the real thing. It was delicious I went to the same place to eat for lunch and dinner every single day for 12 days. Sadly I had to leave some time so i could keep going around the world. I also liked to visit the Great wall of China which was absolutely huge! I had so much fun a and such good food while I here. I didn't do many crazy things but the little things add up.

I learned that Beijing was host to the 2008 Summer Olympics and also that Beijing is the capital of China. It is also the 2nd largest city in China. There are 16 districts and 2 counties in Beijing.

Next Stop...Tokyo, Japan

I loved Tokyo, it was one of my favorite places that I visited. I actually got to go see I survived a Japanese Game Show which was pretty funny and entertaining. It looks a lot like New York actually with the huge light up billboards and all the people in the streets. The buildings all look very cool, the archetecture is very unique. The visit was very fun!

There is so much to learn in a city this big. Tokyo is the capitol of the country and a long time ago Tokyo was a small fishing village named Edo. The word Tokyou translates to eastern capital in english. A lot of US movies were filmed in Tokyo like Kill Bill and The Fast and the Furious etc. I loved this stop and so far my trip has been amazing!

Off to San Francisco

The next stop was in San Francisco and it was a blast. I loved bunjee jumping off the golden gate bridge. It was creppy at first because I thought that i was going to hit the water but my head stopped about 5 feet awaw from the water. I loved to go on runs while the weather was nice during the week I was there. I even felt an earthquake. It was a very small one but it was something. We don't have anything like that in Des Moines.

There were a lot of things to learn while I was there like that San Francisco is the 14th largest city in the United States of America in terms of population. In 1906 San Francisco had an massive earthquake that caused a large fire that wiped out a lot of the buildings and neighborhoods. The cable cars form the only national historic landmark. There are over 200 coffee shops within San Francisco and I actually got to 17 different ones. I had a lot more to go if I wanted to go to all of them.

First Stop In Tampa, Florida

During my stay in Tampa, Florida i went swimming in the ocean and saw so many fish, it was like a New York for fish it was crazy. There were so many different colors of them it was like looking at a million rainbows at once. I als had a great time in the city eating all i could having a great time. I walked a tight rope between two buildings! The rope was five feet off the ground but it ws still fun. Tampa was very fun and I just hope that all the places that I viisit are this fun.
I learned a lot about Tampa while i was there. I learned that Tampa Bay is the biggest city in Florida. The population is over 1,000,000 people, and Edward Scissor Hands was filmed at the Land O' Lakes. Busch Gardens and Adventure Island are all in Tampa Bay, Florida. It's a great place to visit so I hope you check it out yourself sometime.

Getting Ready To Go Around the World

Getting ready to go around the world is a lot of hard work. You have to plan what you are going to see, you have to get all your clothes together. There are a lot of things that rely on you being able to get to each place on time like the weather could delay your flight or any method of travel you use. There is also a lot of excitment because you get to see every single continent, I mean how many people can say that they have done that? My first stop will be in Tampa, Florida.

Web 2.0 Review

The 2.0 website I picked was http://www.typingweb.com/ and it was very helpful. It teaches you how to type the right way instead of typing with your two pointer fingers all the time. I thought that it would be very helpful to anyone with typing problems, any student especially. The lessons are easy to use and to understand.
